GUIDELINES FOR COMMERCIAL VENDORS

 

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION CAREFULLY

 

APPLICATIONS – All applications will be placed on a “first come, first serve” basis with consideration to product. You will receive an instruction packet no later than two weeks prior to the event with traffic directions and event passes. Some areas require a refundable cleaning deposit. Please check your application. All deposits should be submitted by separate check with your application.

 

PRODUCTS – Vendors will not be permitted to sell or give away bottled water. This concession is reserved as an Ojai Day fundraiser. The Ojai Day Committee reserves the right to prohibit the exhibit and/or sale of items that are not in keeping with the community nature of the event.

 

If you wish to sell food items, please contact me and I will send you a food vendor application.

 

EVENT HOURS – The event is from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Your arrival time will be in your instruction packet, which you will be receiving in the mail. Exhibitors are not allowed to pack up or close their booths before 5 p.m.

 

SPACES AND DISPLAYS – Spaces are 10’ x 10’ and will be located throughout the event. All booths have 3 open sides. Placement is determined by product, the date the application is received and electrical needs. Each vendor is responsible for his/her own display, with nothing over 8’ tall.

 

ALL MAIN STREET VENDORS MUST PROVIDE A WHITE EZ UP CANOPY.  You must submit a photo of your canopy with your application.

 

RENTALS – Please note carefully any rental package included with your fee on the application. The rentals listed are the only rentals you will receive at the event. TABLES ARE NOT PROVIDED AUTOMATICALLY. All tables that you bring MUST be draped to the ground with a WHITE drape. Exceptions to the White will be made for vendors who have cloths specific to their displays.

 

SIGNS – All signs must be professionally created and produced to ensure that a uniform appearance is maintained. If you need a number for a banner company please call us at (805) 646-1197.

 

CANCELLATION – There will be no refunds for any reason or for any cancellation less than two weeks prior to the event. Any cancellation made more than two weeks prior to the event will receive their refund less a 20% administration fee. The event will be held rain or shine.

 

All persons, companies or organizations reserving booth space at Ojai Day, do so as independent contractors and not as employees or agents of the City o f Ojai, the Ojai Day Committee, the State of California, the event sponsors, or its agents.
